The quartzite sand filter, is particularly suitable to the filtration of water with high amounts of organic substances: algae, mud and slimy particles of organic matrix. It is recommended for water from rivers, lakes or dams. The special spreader nozzles located inside on the horizontal plate, prevent the quartzite to become compact and the decrease of pressure head loss in the whole system.

Body: sanded metal and treated with zinc phosphate and following electrostatic application of epoxypolyester painted layer of 120-160 micron with a protective and anticorrosive function.
